First of all I would like to give my gratitude to the owner of RAW, Mr. Rich for giving me this opportunity, which allows me to see architecture in a whole new perspective. He also taught me how to be an individual that is full of character through this summer architecture workshop by being a great example for me.
I would also like to thank my seniors at work that have helped me to improve and honed me. I learned a different way to design various projects than the ways that I used back then when I am studying architecture in my university. In university we tend to explore our ideas more, while here in the summer architecture workshop we are expected to offer a more rational and functional design rather than creative ideas that is not necessary (gimmick). During this workshop, they taught me how to use time more wisely and to decide which one are the ones that have to be my priority. In the long run, whether during university or out there where I am experience becoming a worker, I am well prepared because I already have the basics of using the software applications that I needed.
Here in this workshop I met new friends that motivate me with their eagerness to learn. We learned, shared, and honed together. Like dirty grains of rice that are being washed together, bumping and scratching with each other until all of them are clean, we transformed from the beginning where we were lacking in many ways to people that have a better understanding of things.
I never regret my decision to join this summer architecture workshop. I am glad that I have given the opportunity to trade my time and effort with the precious and unforgettable experience in this workshop. Thank you RAW for having me here.
