Reflection Letter:
Hello! My name is Lauren Marxoni and I’m currently in my seventh semester studying at Bandung Institute of Technology. I am writing this to express my sincere gratitude for the opportunity to intern at RAW Architecture this past 2 months. As my internship comes to an end, I wanted to take a moment to reflect on my experiences and the invaluable lessons I have gained during my time with RAW Architecture.
From the very first day, I was welcomed with open arms and immediately immersed in a dynamic and creative environment. Working alongside the talented and dedicated professionals at RAW Architecture has been an inspiring journey that has surpassed my expectations. The exposure to real-world projects, the chance to collaborate with other team members, and the hands-on involvement in various stages of the design process have provided me with an enriching learning experience.
I am especially grateful for the guidance and mentorship I received from Kak Riyan, Kak Melisa, Kak Angel, Teh Al, Kak Alim, Kak Tyo, and Kak Zyadi who took the time to share their expertise, provide constructive feedback, and encourage my growth as a future architect. Their insights and advice have not only improved my technical skills but also expanded my perspective on the role of architecture.
One of the most significant takeaways from my internship at RAW Architecture has been the emphasis on sustainable and innovative design solutions. The commitment to pushing the boundaries of design while prioritizing environmental responsibility has left a lasting impression on me. I am excited to incorporate these principles into my future work as an architect and contribute to creating spaces that are not only aesthetically pleasing but also sustainable and functional.
Furthermore, the collaborative and work culture at RAW Architecture has taught me the importance of effective communication, teamwork, and adaptability. I have had the privilege of working with diverse teams on challenging projects, which has sharpened my ability to work cohesively in a fast-paced and ever-evolving professional setting.
Lastly, I want to express my genuine appreciation for the support and encouragement I have received from all of my fellow interns, Nisrina, Rifa, Laurit, Fachrul, Peter, Rei, Vera, Bintang, Jonathan, Uung, Inggrid, and Heru, see you again and see you guys on top!
Once again, thank you for providing me with this exceptional learning opportunity. It has been an honor to be a part of RAW Architecture, and I look forward to the possibility of crossing paths again in the future.
Best Regards,
Lauren Marxoni
