Reflection Letter:
Hello, my name is Rinanda Gantari, though most people call me Gantari. I am currently in my fifth semester at Diponegoro University. Through this reflection letter, I would like to share my thoughts on my two-month internship. It has been a phase in my life that truly shaped me and taught me many things I had never seen or understood before.
I have been interested in architecture since I was in elementary school. For me, architecture is not only about the beauty of a building, but also about a kind of beauty that can be felt through the philosophy behind it. I have always seen architecture as something very broad, something to learn from and something that can guide the way I see life.
When I was finally accepted as an architecture student in 2023, I felt that a long-awaited dream had come true. But as time passed, I realized that I did not fully understand why I was studying architecture. I enjoyed the process, but I had not yet found its deeper meaning.
In 2025, I met Kak Realrich at the WEX UGM event, and that moment slowly changed the way I see architecture. Listening to him explain architecture from a perspective I had never imagined before made me realize that architecture is not only about form or aesthetics, but also about deeper meaning and values. That was the moment I became truly interested in doing my internship at RAW Architecture.
From the first day I stepped into RAW, I already had a feeling that this journey would be exciting and memorable. Before being accepted, I went through many ups and downs while searching for an internship, which made this opportunity feel even more meaningful. There are so many reasons why I feel grateful to have joined RAW as an intern.
The working environment was comfortable, the people were kind and fun, and the mentors were very supportive. At the same time, the work was intense, challenging, and dynamic. All of these experiences made me feel that two months was not enough.
Since my last day at RAW, I have often wondered if I will ever have the chance to return. But then I realized that wherever I go, I will carry the values I learned at RAW with me. The kindness I experienced there, along with the lessons I learned, will stay with me for a long time.
I may not be very good at expressing my feelings in words, but I am truly grateful for everything. Thank you to Kak Realrich for the guidance, care, and the way he leads with sincerity. Thank you to the Techne Normative team, Kak Joshi, Kak Kamil, Kak Rizka, Kak Revi, Kak Gabby, and Kak Nielson, for being my first team and for all the memorable moments we shared. Thank you also to the Episteme team, Kak Chai, Mas Beng, Kak Novi, and Kak Ikhsan, for welcoming me so warmly. I am also thankful to all the other teams who made this experience even more meaningful. I would also like to thank Kak Tyo, who interviewed me at RAW. Thank you for your kindness from the very beginning until the end of my internship.
Lastly, thank you to RAW Architecture and everyone involved. I hope RAW DOT OMAH continues to grow and succeed. I also hope that the kindness I experienced there will always remain, wherever I go ^-^
Best Regards,
Rinanda Gantari
