My name is Agnia Gama Priviyanti, and currently a 7th semester student. I am writing this motivational letter in response to the internship opportunity in RAW Architecture. At this time, I am pursuing my Bachelor Degree in Architecture at Bina Nusantara University, and I am focusing on Digital Architecture major.
I am aware that RAW Architecture have a unique perspective in architecture and interior design that expressed from their works. RAW Architecture’s innovation and creativity totally amazed me, especially the detail of their crafting designs are absolutely mind-blowing for me. One of my favorite work of RAW Architecture is OMAH Architecture Library. The first time I saw it in the picture, I know that this is amazing. I love every little detail that RAW Architecture gave to their design. They maximizing their resource perfectly and made something valuable to the user of the building. That is something I want to learn about, to give the meaning of architecture to the user and bring them something they never felt before anywhere.
As you can see from my CV and Portfolio, I am decently skilled in several architecture softwares such as Archicad, Sketch-Up, AutoCAD, Photoshop, Ecotect, Lumion, Rhinoceros etc. I had taken the AutoCAD 2015 Professional Exam and I am certified. I love to explore something new, and I am also a quick learner. I can work well in teamwork which is important in architecture world. One of my organization experience is being an Installation Coordinator Himars Edu 2016, I and my team had built a 1:1 parametric bamboo pavilion at Plaza Syahdan, Binus University.
But of what use is a raw skill, unless it is sharpened? Therefore, I decided to enroll myself as an intern in RAW Architecture to help me understand more about the subject I truly adore, to help me understand the mind of the user better and I want to enhance my skills, both of hard-skills and soft-skills by being an intern in RAW Architecture.
I think being an intern is important before entering the architecture field later, so I feel like RAW Architecture will be a nice beginning to fulfill my dream to be an architect. I really want to learn more about architecture and design in the real world, not just behind the desk. I want to know how architects work in the field, how they deal with problems, and how they fulfill their goals into design. I wish to implement the skills that I have learned in the real world, and I believe that RAW Architecture will teach me a lot of new things that I will never get anywhere. Even though I am a student, I believe my willingness to learn will make me a good Intern.
