Hi, I’m Garicsen Yeo, a spatial design student with a deep interest in creativity, strategy, and how ideas turn into reality. While architecture isn’t my field, I’ve always been fascinated by how spaces influence people and how firms like RAW bring visions to life. That’s why I took the opportunity to intern here—curious to learn, observe, and experience something new.
From the very first week, I immersed myself in understanding how RAW operates—not just as a firm but as a community. I saw how ideas flow, how collaboration shapes projects, and how every detail plays a role in the bigger picture. It was eye-opening to witness how architecture isn’t just about design—it’s about movement, interaction, and the people behind it.
Though my time here was short, it was filled with meaningful moments. I gained insights that I wouldn’t have learned elsewhere, from the way teams communicate to the way projects evolve. More than anything, I saw the passion that drives RAW, and that left a lasting impact on me.
I’m grateful to Kak Rich and Kak Riyan, and everyone at RAW for welcoming me and allowing me to be part of this space, even if just for a month. It’s been a valuable experience—one that has given me new perspectives to carry forward.
Thank you, and I hope our paths cross again in the future!
Best,
Garicsen Yeo
