Thank you, Tania Romero and Periódico REFORMA- Mexico City, for this opportunity to reflect.
This project extends our hypotheses on designing tropical, open, craft houses. The aim is to create a eudaimonic space—a balanced environment for work, play, living, and rest. Our methods explore further, delving into the handmade artistry of tectonics over seven years with love and care.
Lumintu grounded in its place yet open to new paths. Its bamboo-inspired steel facade allows light to filter in softly, creating a sense of calm. The courtyard, adorned with native plants, offers a tranquil spot to pause. The sloped landscape follows the earth’s natural flow, inviting simple moments of rest. This underdog journey continues to teach us.
