Raw Architecture introduce our collaboration on @wonderballpadel project that consist of two padel courts, plus an F&B experience with artistic architecture experience. The project comes with a hypothesis, of how to combine the programs within the not so big lot, while integrating it with a sustainable design strategy.
- Positioned along the east-west axis, the courts are integrated within the landscape + facade design that acts as a climate filter. They are enveloped by a thoughtfully composed skin of curved shape brick, plastic, perforated metal panels, and Sukabumi stone, which allow airflow, add texture, and enhance tactile quality.
- The design creates a comfortable playing environment, supported by active 4 cooling fan to get cross active air circulation and air stack effect
- A transition from the entrance into the court is made through a non-obstructive, glass and curved canopy, creating a subtle boundary that invites spectators, players, and passersby. Inside, a small gallery space offers a curated retail and lobby with the skylights above, while a concealed back-of-house service at the front efficiently supports the F&B.
