First, I am really thankful for the opportunity to have intern at your company. it was a wonderful experience, i learned many things from you and your team. At the first day of my internship, i could felt the warm and kindness , inside your office, there is no big pressure in there. There is more fun office instead of stressful office. This situation make your designers work without pressure and willingly to work hard push their limits and architect their full potential. After that you show them respect when they already done the hard work, it shows me how you respect the people around you. You respect all off your staff from designer to the worker who work in the field.
I learned more about the design at your company, what i learned we must know every detail for our design, it occur how our design will look like. I already visited two projects that your team already design, Bare minimalis, and The guild what i learned, a right scale for human who used the building that suitable for living, a scale that feel so intimate, and the program in your building was calculated exactly right its not to big and not to small, but uniquely it still flexible enough for further change. What i found interesting, you made your work look very bare we can see the story that happened in the process making of the project every imperfection in the project was made to be a story and e lesson for future projects, you let the people who visited your project to learn more about architecture possibilities, you let the detail exposed so we young architect can learn that what i saw from the guild project. Exploring new technique in craftsmanship, new building technology and building material.
Attittude is another things that i learn in my internship, i saw you so humble and kind person. Those things make people around you respect you and follow your way. Sharing is another things that i learned form you, like what i believe “whatever a man sows, this he will also reap”, if we kind and share to another people we will get more than what we already gave. Another things that i saw from you, its not enough for you to be successful alone, you want all your staff reach their maximum potential, even the worker in the field you train them so they can have more good quality of working. Social empowerment another things that i learned from you, i wonder if so many architect doing this stuff how many jobless people in Indonesia can get job for their life. OMAH is another things that shows me how generous you are, you are willing to share your knowledge and teach us about deepness in architecture for us who will be young architect. We as an architect can’t work alone we must work together with many people from many social class, so it very important for us to be a humble person.
That’s all i want to thank you for such a precious opportunity that i can learned many things from you sir,especially human management and social empowerment. Really sad i can’t had internship at your office again this holiday. I hope i can learn more further from you to make architect profession not an exclusive job but a person who humble enough to serve the society and make the world a better place for living. Once again i am really thank-full to you Mr. Realrich Sharief for give me the opportunity, it make me know and realize what kind of architect that i want to be. I hope i can work at your office after i graduate.
