My interest with RAW Architecture is getting higher since I saw 99 Percent Sumarah installation at Casa by Bravacasa Exhibition last June, the unify of all the glass boxes compotition and the lighting is beautiful. Although I never see 99 Percent The Guild in place, I saw many pictures of it in Instagram. I can see the all the efforts and desires to realize the dream of 99 Percent are poured very well in 99 Percent The Guild. Not only that, the other projects are as amazing as 99 Percent The Guild, for example Akanaka, Wirawan House, etc.
My motivation to join RAW Architecture is the curiosity of your studio. One of my friend is the intern of RAW Architecture, told me all her experience when working in your studio. Her job is not only drafting, but all interns are invited to site visit, learning many types of materials and their functions, designing anything even it is a small project, and many more. The seniors in the studio are helping the interns any skills or education aside lessons at the campus and they’re pleased welcoming the interns. She met many friends from different campus with the age gap and sharing each other about their campus life, assignment, assemblage, what their activities outside campus, etc. My friend learns a lot how to manage her time between her daily routine and intership, the more important is how hard working in the studio with many deadlines until staying up late. It’s like practicing for the real working at architecture studio after graduated. RAW Architecture is one of architecture studio that reachable from my house. So my parents wouldn’t worry to much where am I working at.
What I want achieve in RAW Architecture is gain my skill of architecture application and others. Usually any consultant studio using software AutoCAD, but I mostly using ArchiCAD for doing my modelling. I can use AutoCAD but only the basic. I want to learn more rendering using Photoshop, because I only rendering with ArchiCAD or Lumion. The more important is to upgrade my designing concept skill, how to finalize the concept for my thesis, any future projects and gain my sense of art and aesthetic in designing houses or other projects . Facing the client, what they wants, how to persuade them to get the best design based on their needs, talk without hurt and misunderstood them. So it will gain my communication skills to stranger or client who come to me for designing their dream, since I’m not a supple person. But I’m a person who wants to know anything, learn from mistakes and fix it in order to achieve my goals. And I want to learn more about RAW Architecture theme, 99 Percent. I like your residentials project theme and my style is leading to that but not too maximal like my previous assignment. So I hope if you allow me to join your studio, I can learn to increasing my style through your future projects.
