This motivational statement letter I write to express my great interest in applying for a student internship in R A W Architecture. My name is Maghfira Chaerani Nayucendani. First, I will tell you something about myself. I have an interest in photography, architecture and travelling. I can work under pressure, able to work in teamwork, not easy to give up even though the lecturer gives a lot of criticism, willing to learn and accept the advice given, able to complete the tasks assigned by the lecturer on time, even though I never stayed up late i can surely accomplished a good result and organized. I am aware of the advantages and disadvantages that I have, and all that is the motivation for my own.
At first my interest to the architecture starts from the moment I see and hear the work of Frank Lloyd Wright, namely the falling water which has a modern architectural style, but still consider the environment in which the building would be built. Since that time I wanted to design buildings and interiors that has an aesthetic but also very concerned about the surrounding environment.
After seeing the works of R A W Architecture through the Internet and books as well as the good reputation of the company makes me motivated to have a work standard like that and R A W Architecture became my role in designing a building that has the aesthetics and function of the building is achieved and After seeing the vision and mission of R A W Architecture, the 99 percent project of how we should think about other people who contributed to the creation and development of a project, which not only architects but the owner and builders also have a contribution to the project, so that communications made to be consistent and easily understood by all parties, as the design should be able to answer problems that the clients had and the extent to which the design has new innovations but still pay attention to how the development process.
I have choose to apply intern in R A W Architecture because of the time schedule that the company has, and i want to challenge myself to working with a free time schedule and works. My objective is to join the RAW Architecture to gain additional experience of the world of architecture that will I live after graduating from architecture school, learn to look at how to deal with clients, how to design a good building, a building that is designed in accordance with the surrounding environment and has the genius loci between buildings and the environment, Good material selection for each function of the building, rendering image to archive client’s satisfication and hopes to implement all the knowledge I acquired over the years. I would very much like to spend 3 months at R A W Architecture.
