Riswanda Setyo Addino -UNBRAW

This letter was written by me, Riswanda Setyo Addino a graduate degree in Architecture at the University of Brawijaya. Currently I’m working on a landscaping consultant in South Jakarta since the end of 2016. Although I have worked, but I’m still looking for an opportunity to work on architectural consultant although the internship opportunity to support my interest and my goal in architecture. In the last years of my studies, I became increasingly convinced pursue a career in architecture because of the condition of underdevelopment effectively architecture in Indonesia and especially where I come from. The reason that there makes me still not satisfied with the study at the University, I need to dig deeper into the architecture and had to find the right place. It could be said too late to propose internship now, but I consciously do not want to more late again. I am understand of the long journey that I will go on and need the supplies about the architecture to run my passion in the future.

Previously I had only heard once in a while about RAW Architect, with no idea at all. In December 2016, I attended a course of Omah Library program that house generic design course that made me meet directly with RAW Architecture. From the event i know more about Mr. Realrich Sjarief and his team figure and how their concern for the education and practice of architecture in the Indonesian climate. I am very interested in the criticality on technical terms and an introduction to the framework of an architect. The work which is also the home-office-library of his own has a lot of secrets that can not only be known by sightseeing or passing through the room. The secrets seen from the used and combined material along with the ambiance that created. Awesome and very interesting. I think it would be very nice if working along with the team, doing something positive, and progressed with the team RAW Architect.

Moreover, the idea of value engineering that has been achieved by RAW in less than ten years of age. From what I have seen in some of RAW work are pretty good in play mass, materials, philosophy, and science of architectural elements. It’s really promising Company in the development of the science and practice of Indonesian architecture which is was put to sleep by a dream of occupation in the past. The purpose of my internship in RAW Architect is to complete my knowledge of the practice of the professions consultant architect and science in architecture.
