We will participate in the exhibition at M Bloc Design Week, themed ‘Daur Rupa – Sustainable Design,’ meaning “everything recycled,” from September 27th to October 6th, 2024. The exhibition will feature the Guha Boboto model panel, that has four key components: a family home, a boarding house, a family-operated stall, and OMAH new philosophers survival library. This project emphasizes preserving old structures as a way to survive by minor changes and major impact while emphasizing kampoong material locality, family affordability, and local-symbolic sustainability, showing the DOT Workshop detailing at its critical and finest.
Our principal, Realrich Sjarief, will speak at the M Bloc Design Week 2024: Design Conference on October 5th, which focuses on exploring and advancing sustainable design in today’s fast-paced and complex world, questioning many thinking mode, defining static assumptions of sustainability in RAW practice. The conference will also feature other notable friends, brothers colleagues, including Antonius Richard, Sibarani Sofian, and Anton Siura.
The presentation will focus on empowering local craftsmen and harnessing their skills to create meaningful bioclimatic architecture. Our commitment to lifelong learning drives us to craft architecture with care and dedication to families, firmly grounded in sustainability and redefined local engagement to achieve operational expenditure in sustaining legacy of literacy, domestic needs. This is the model of the self-sustained economy, social, and culture of togetherness for the future.
