Ar Realrich Sjarief from RAW DOT OMAH has been honored with the opportunity to serve as the keynote speaker at the 2024 Architectural Culture Symposium on June 16th, 2024, hosted by the Architectural Society of China (ASC). This event will focus on Asian architectural culture and take place at the Inner Mongolia University of Technology, featuring esteemed leaders from the ASC and the participation of Professor Cheng Taining, an academician of the Chinese Academy of Engineering.
Realrich will share his experiences and insights into innovative approaches to promoting cultural values in architectural work. His presentation will delve into three key stages that an architect undergoes: the process of survival, the process of making, and the process of playing in architecture.
The philosophy of Javanese local wisdom deeply permeates his profession. He also emphasizes the empowerment of local craftsmen and harnesses their skills to create meaningful bioclimatic architecture. Working with passion and love, Realrich believes that life is about how one can contribute to others and is committed to lifelong learning.
