RAW Architecture’s studio was once again filled with brief encounters that left a warm impression, moments shaped by learning, everyday dynamics, and the energy that grows through each individual.
Manas came from India as part of his university internship program, but he chose to take a different path. While many of his peers pursued internships within their own country, he decided to come to Indonesia in search of new experiences and ways of learning. It was not only about the studio or architecture, but also about encountering a different environment, culture, and way of life. This journey became his first experience traveling abroad, a significant step that required the courage to move beyond his comfort zone.
Manas came into the studio as someone deeply critical and full of questions. He never simply went through the process passively, but continuously tried to understand the reasoning behind everything, why something was done in a certain way, how the logic worked, and what purpose a process was meant to serve. His curiosity made every discussion feel alive and rich with exchanges of perspective.
Throughout his time here, Manas showed strong initiative. He maintained a solid standard of work, particularly through his consistent and detail oriented technical abilities. His interest in conceptual design and analytical thinking made his learning process thoughtful, in depth, and exploratory.
Even after moving between several teams, he adapted quickly and remained flexible in responding to different working rhythms. Manas also blended naturally with the people in the studio, building connections, learning to understand a new environment, and even learning Bahasa Indonesia as a way to feel more connected with those around him. He adapted well to differences in culture and language while continuing to actively contribute to the everyday life of the studio.
